AED Placement

During a cardiac arrest, use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AEDs) will help restore your heart to a normal rhythm. Our team is committed to expanding access of AEDs by utilizing fundraising capabilities and partnerships to deploying devices across businesses and public facilities across the Commonwealth.

What is an AED?

An AED is a machine that gives a brief electroshock to the heart, directly or through electrodes placed on the chest wall, helping to restore a heart in cardiac arrest to a normal rhythm. These are the only devices that can be used to restore the heart rhythm if someone is suffering a cardiac arrest and, if available, may be used by public members to respond in the event of a cardiac emergency.

Provide Life Saving Measures with an AED

The mission of Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation includes utilizing our fundraising capabilities and partnerships to place AEDs in businesses and public facilities. Initially, our goal was to distribute at least one AED to a qualified recipient per quarter for a total of at least four per year. However, through community support and outreach, we have increased the number of devices deployed year-over-year.

In 2021, we placed 20 AEDs. We aim to expand this placement across our region and, over time, across the Commonwealth. Below are locations our team has placed AEDs to date:

Foundation, where she oversees the Training Program, AED Program, Scholarship Program, and Volunteer Program. A graduate with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and media communication, Tiffany spent five years as a morning
radio co-host and Academy of Country Music award winner, including three years with Fredericksburg’s own WFLS. Her time behind the mic allowed her to build meaningful relationships and strong community ties within Fredericksburg—an
area she’s proud to call home.

Outside of her work at Gwyneth’s Gift, Tiffany is a dance teacher at MFA Studios in Locust Grove, where she shares her love of
dance with children and teens, instilling confidence, discipline, and creativity. Growing up a dancer herself, this role is especially close to her heart. Tiffany is also enjoying the exciting process of planning her wedding with her fiancé, preparing for their special day in October 2025. The couple resides in downtown Fredericksburg and, when not planning their wedding, can be
found exploring new places, attending concerts, and cherishing time with family and friends.
