Whiskey Business: Westward Exploration 2022

Whiskey Business is Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation’s biggest annual fundraiser. Each year the event revolves around a particular theme, to include the premium whiskeys that will be available for tastings.

The event will also feature an open bar of top-shelf whiskey, premium whiskey tastings, live band, cigar roller, and more!

100% of the proceeds will be used towards training and educating the community on the importance of Hands-Only CPR and the use of an AED.

Sponsorship applications will be processed in the order in which they are received. Please be aware they are processed on a first come first serve basis and there are limited spaces available. We appreciate your support for this incredible event, and we look forward to Whiskey Business 2022!

Volunteers:

Our Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation events are successful in large part because of the tremendous support from volunteers. Whether it is picking up items for our silent auction, being part of the event committee, pre-event set ups, event day help, or clean-up, there is an opportunity for anyone wanting to lend a hand.

Joel Griffin

Chairman & Co-Founder

Joel Griffin is co-founder and chairman of Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation. Gwyneth’s Gift was founded in 2015 by Joel and Jennifer Griffin in honor of their oldest daughter, Gwyneth. He is also an entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist with 25 years of private industry consulting experience and 20 years in government contracting. He is the Founder and CEO of Riphean, a regional growth management firm.

Joel is committed to philanthropy within the region through local nonprofits and organizations that strengthen local communities. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Fredericksburg Regional Alliance, Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce, Stafford Hospital Foundation, and Germanna Educational Foundation. Joel was recognized for his impact and leadership within the region, receiving the Prince B. Woodward Leadership Award in 2022.

In addition to the regional award, Joel received the Valor Award from Loudon County for his life-saving efforts in an emergency. He also received the Patriotic Civilian Service Award given by the U.S. Army for actions taken immediately and following 9/11 at The Pentagon in 2001.
